Hello, my name is Allison Rheaume and I believe in developing a mutual partnership between you and your pet because caring for an animal in your home is as much about responsibility as it is about love. Sometimes people forget that dogs are animals and not humans. They need exercise, play, and companionship. My goal is to give you feasible training techniques that allow you to have a great partnership with your animals. To get the most out of your relationship with your pet enroll in one of my online courses or book a private consult.

I’ve been training dogs professionally for about 6 years. I started while I was a student at Carroll College. As an Anthrozoology major, I was given the opportunity to train and modify the behaviors of a shelter dog. This year opened my eyes to the world of dog training and taught me a lot about what it takes to train dogs. I became hooked. I started helping people with their pet dogs in hopes of getting to work with as many different dogs as I could. I also started puppy raising for an amazing company called Healing Hounds Service Dogs, where I learned so much about training and socializing puppies.

In addition to training my own dogs, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a lot of different trainers. I made sure to study and watch the methods of every trainer I encountered. As a result of this, I was able to start shadowing McKinney K9 based in Helena, MT. By following her I was able to learn not only how to train a dog but to have fun while doing it. I am very thankful for the experiences and opportunities I have been given because I believe it has allowed me to craft my own unique training methods. I am now a certified Master Public Trainer by the American Society of Canine Trainers International (ASCT). And I am continuously learning more and more about the minds of dogs through them!

I look forward to working with you and your dog!
